Susan Hill is a licensed social worker, along with her roles as wife and mom. Having three kids on the autism spectrum, she is passionate about autism advocacy. Susan founded a local autism/sensory group, BRIDGE the Gap North Mississippi, to create avenues for communities to become sensory-friendly. Working alongside local autism resources, she strives to build awareness and acceptance in the North Mississippi community where her family resides. "Understanding High-functioning Autism: From a Mom's Perspective" was written in order to share her family's personal journey with autism.
