My father was born in 1765 and my mother in 1771. If these dates were ever in the record they have been lost, still we are not left without a witness. My father died as his tombstone in the cemetery at Skaneateles, New York, shows, December aged 47 and my mother as is shown in Wadsworth cemetery February 12, 1851, aged 80, thus proving the beginning of life by the records of death as follows, Ebenezer Pardee was born 1765 and Anna Minor born 1771 as above stated. By another computation it is shown that at their marriage my father was 22 and my mother 16.
