Mouse and Elephant is another wonderful storybook in the series published by Hodder aimed at toddlers. Elephant and mouse are best friends and love to play together. However, they have difficulty finding games that they can play together as Elephant is too large and mouse is too small. But what fun they have finding out!
The illustrations are clear, brightly coloured and funny, and the text is simple and repetitive exploring friendships, gameplay and having fun. The story uses size and shape as the theme--together, these are just the right ingredients for toddler enjoyment.--Susan NaylorReview:
A very colourful book - teh two characters have to negotiate things they can both enjoy together. Evokes lots of discussion about the concepts of sharing and 'give and take' in a relationship. Introduces concept sof opposites - big - small - sizes, etc.
