This is a standard-sized postcard, addressed and signed by author Truman Capote from Portugal to San Francisco, California. He pens a couple of sentences in blue ink to the recipient. Some light age-toning; postage affixed; 1968 postmark. A few small (staple?) punctures. Generally sharp corners with some light handling wear to extremities. Blue and green floral design on reverse side, with a bit of normal rubbing and handling wear. Postcard is housed in glass floating frame. This is a remarkably rare item for the serious collector, appealing to books collectors, Capote enthusiasts, or anyone who loves Americana. Seller Inventory # 10891
