Undated; published ca. 1875. Small 12mo. volume bound in orange cloth with 22 photographs mounted on stiff card stock and measuring 6 1/2" X 4 1/4" each and assembled in the volume in accordion fashion. The pictures show women from various regions of Switzerland in assorted settings (artificial) performing a number of tasks and chores. Condition: the cloth binding is worn, rubbed & soiled with sun-fading to the spine. The group of photos has separated from the binding and the last four pictures have detached from the rest of the group, but all are present. The pictures themselves are faded, some more than others.
