Oriignal photograph of the centre court of the Blau-Weiss tennis club in Berlin, c. 1930s, not many years after it was opened. The image shows a mixed doubles match being played with a handful of spectators. The centre court of the club was opened in 1926, and was the largest in Europe, capable of holding up to 600 spectators. The court, now amongst a complex of courts, is still very much as it was 100 years ago. 19.5 x 28.5 cm. Very minor loss to top right corner not affecting the image. Seller Inventory # 019425
