Illustrated advertising handbill for a chemical compound marketed to families, "Eureka", which claims to prevent the "breaking of chimneys, and makes kerosene oil as safe as a candle". Note that the company seeks sales people of either gender ("Agents Wanted, Men or Women") for what appears to be the same job and pay. Warns customers to "Beware of shoddy imitations offered by unprincipled tramps". Features illustration of the inventor of the product in the center. Measures approx. 9" by 5", verso blank.
