6" x 7" letter from author Marchette Chute to Kelsey Guilfoil - book critic of the Chicago Tribune. Typed letter on Chute's personal stationary with her New York City letterhead. Signed in black pen by Chute. Dated April 6, 1950. Chute writes: "I am extremely pleased that you like my book on Shakespeare. .". Refers to her book " An Introduction to Shakespeare". Chute goes on to give some interesting insight into her writing of the book and thanks Guilfoil for his fine review. Paper clip stain at upper right. Very good condition. Seller Inventory # 13962
