Signature and introduction in Derby's hand, body of letter is written by an assistant at the Colonial Office. An offer of a Royal Commission - with the Queen's blessing - for Hooker's assistance with the 1887 Australian Exhibition. Thick paper stock. A bit of scarring to reverse where the letter was tipped into a scrapbook.14" x 9" while unfolded. Seller Inventory # 001320
