Four Menus numbered 1 to 4. The Fruits of New York, The Vegetables of New Jersey, The Lobsters of Maine and The Ducklings of Long Island. Presented by Hotel New Yorker, Manhattan, to guests in 1950. Size: 9 x 12 inches. Twice this size when opened. Page number: Each menu is 3 pages long. Cover design by C. Scholz. One menu promotes The Manhattan Room Luncheons, 2 are for The Terrace Room, one is for Room Service. The graphics and the fare on offer are very much of their time: Lettuce with California Sardines, Steamed Finnan Haddock, Nesselrode Pudding, Consomme Celestine, Boiled Calf's Sweetbread and Imported Galbani's Stracchini Taleggio Cheese are advertised fare. A cabaret and ice how are promoted. The Hotel New Yorker, now a Wyndam Hotel, remains an iconic building in Manhattan. The name, in neon, is emblazoned on the side. Condition: Very Good. The corners are a tiny bit soft.The front of No.2 is a little marked in 3 places. They are otherwise very fresh and clean. Seller Inventory # 000949
