Thomas Leo Clancy Jr. (1947-2013) was an American novelist best known for his technically detailed espionage and military-science story-lines set during and after the Cold War. Some of his best known works are 'The Hunt for Red October' (1984), 'Patriot Games' (1987), 'Clear and Present Danger' (1989), and 'The Sum of All Fears' (1991). Preceding the publication of his first book by over 20 years was his literary work at Loyola High School (now known as Loyola Blakefield) in Towson, Maryland, a private catholic school. On page 42 Clancy wrote a piece under the title 'Seasonal News,' in which he places a 'WANTED' ad for Santa Claus, being wanted for 'transportation of manufactured goods over national boundaries,' among others. He has a second piece discussing names of Soviet cereals, due to a proposed sale of wheat from the USA to the USSR; 1296584. Shelved Dupont Bookstore. Seller Inventory # 1296584
