Aviation. Jeu de Patience. Mr Bob et Son Rataplan no1. A set of amusing jigsaw puzzles entitled Mr Bob and His Rataplan no1. By Fernand Fernel. French. Circa 1910. Produced by Le Societe Industrielle de Photographie, Paris in 1910. The thick wooden puzzles have gilt edges and blue paper on the reverse side. They measure 14 1/4 x 10 1/4 inches. The artist's name is on the lower left corner. Condition: Very Good. The set is incomplete. There should be 12 puzzles in total. Three of the puzzles are slightly damaged; each missing the corner of one piece. The others are in good shape being clean and bright without marks. 8 of the puzzles have an accompanying image that shows the puzzle picture in its complete state. These are all damaged to some degree; either by closed tears that have been repaired using archival tape; or by grubby marks and creases. One has a little loss to the base and writing in felt tip pen on the reverse. The puzzles come in a box but it is in poor shape. Only the lower wooden casing and the top of the lid remain. The image on the top of the lid has darkened and is quite worn and creased. A heavy item; it will require additional postage. Seller Inventory # 001066
