Adler (1909-1960), born E. Maurice Adler, June 22, 1909, New York City; died July 12, 1960, Los Angeles, California; producer and writer; film career 1939-1960; "Radio Hams" 1939 (writer); and produced such hits as "Salome" 1953 with Rita Hayworth; "From Here to Eternity" 1953 winning Best Picture Oscar; "Bus Stop" 1956 with Marilyn Monroe; "Anastasia" 1956 with Ingrid Bergman in one of her Oscar winning roles; "South Pacific" 1958. Husband of actress Anita Louise. Terry Moore (b. 1929), born Helen Luella Koford, January 29, 1929, Los Angeles, California; worked as a model before she made her film debut at 11 in 20th Century-Fox's "Maryland" 1940. Throughout the 1940s, she worked under a variety of names (her own, Judy Ford and January Ford) before settling on Terry Moore in 1948. Placed under contract by Columbia, Moore was loaned out to RKO for one of her most famous films, RKO's "Mighty Joe Young" 1949; she received an Oscar nomination for her performance in Paramount's "Come Back, Little Sheba" 1952. In the 1970s, she was in the news more than she was in motion pictures, asserting that she was the secret wife of the late billionaire Howard Hughes. After Howard Hughes died, Moore claimed they had secretly married on a yacht in international waters off Mexico in 1949 and never divorced. Hughes's estate paid Moore an undisclosed settlement in 1984. Seller Inventory # 602431
