51/4 x 3 1/2 inches (13.5 x 9 cm), pictorial postcard. Written across in German is, "Andenken an "Asra" die Lnvergaztekin [Souvenir of Asra (no translation for the last word). Photo of man in Western dress holding the hand of a small person in so called Aztec clothing. The little person, Asra also called the "Living Doll" was exhibited in the early 20th century. Asra was born in 1898 with a condition known as microcephaly, a developmental disorder which causes the skull and brain to be undersized. Microcephalics are also typically of short stature.
