This map was produced before the introduction of interstate highways. It was made in Denver by Charles J. Hotchkiss. He started his map company in in 1933 and listed the company as successor to the Clason Map Company. The company existed until the early 1950s. This map is highly intense on its content. Railroads are named with highways highlighted. This is a transportation map designed to get the user from point A to point B. While a traveler would use a series of larger scale maps, this map would have been excellent for trip planning or recording of actual travels. Seller Inventory # 536
