About this Item
Undated but although many railways are present, it does lack Sheppey Light Railway which should be shown as a proposed line from at least 1900. Presumed therefore to date from the 1890's and estimated at 1895. Green rigid covers with gilt title to front, with only minor marking. Full colour map mounted on linen. Light rubbing to folds. A little spotting to upper left panel. Further periodic light spotting but overall, nice and bright. Map divided into three sections. Source of Thames marked as west of Cirencester and then follows through to the mouth of the Thames beyond Sheerness. Scale: half inch to the mile. Further details available on request. (n533y).
