About this Item
George A Ogle produced the Standard Atlas of Lake County in 1907. Included in that atlas was this map primarily of Libertyville. Also included in the Lowe quarter is a map of Barrington. Maps of both towns seldom come on the market. Libertyville is shown with Milwaukee slicing through the left center area. Aligned along the thoroughfare is the towns settlement. The pattern is truncated to the north by the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railroad. In the southwestern extremely of the map lies the one mile oval track of the Libertyville Trottes Association. Closer to the town in the upper right quadrant is another track of a hall mile. In the left center id Butler Lake. In the lower one quarter is a detailed separate map of Barrington. This is quite a rarity also. It too has a bisection by railroad, Chicago Northwestern. Very good condition with binders trimming of the external neatline top and bottom. The only way to get this wall map to fit without folding it into the volume. Seller Inventory # 413
