This is a fine depiction of Japan and Korea as know in the 1750s era. The map covers the main island and several other islands. It describes the mainland as Niphon. This large scale map set the stage for future European intrusion into the area. It wasn't until 1856 that Perry was able to open the island to large basis trading. Seller Inventory # 699
