The main body of the map is hand-colored the cartouches remain uncolored as published.The map is divided into four provinces, Ultoniae,Ulster, Conniacia, Connaught, Laceniae, Leinster and Momianie, Munster.The prototype for this map was first drawn by Amsterdam cartographer Nicholas Visscher in 1689.
