Large original photozincographed map of South London (132 x 196 cm) comprised of four separate sheets (each 66 x 98 cm) with partial contemporary wash colouring to bodies of water, each sheet dissected into 18 sections and backed onto cloth, folding between marbled paper covers into mapseller's (Edward Stanford) original blue cloth slipcase with engraved title label. Lower sheets with Edward Stanford's label to margin - "Edward Stanford.Sole Agent by Appointment for the Ordnance and Geological Survey Maps. Agent for the Admiralty Charts, the Indian Government Maps, &c.". A few very faint isolated spots, generally an excellent example, clean and well preserved in the slipcase. Seller Inventory # 62612
