8vo. Wrappers. 236pp. The 1st printing of this excellent issue, published as 'Travail de poesie'. Text in French, including Edmond Jabes, Bernard Noel, Anne-Marie Albiach, Jacques Roubaud, Mathieu Benezet, Larry Eigner, William Bronk, Vera Linhartova, Joseph Guglielmi, Jacqueline Risset, Pascal Quignard, Roger Giroux, Dominique Rouche, Alain Veinstein, Roger Lewinter, Jean Daive and Joerg Ortner, Pierre Rottenberg, Jacques Sojcher, Rosmarie Waldrop, and Keith Waldrop. (The book was put together in November 1978 but did not appear until March 1980; there was a 2nd, slightly enlarged edition in 1983.) Spotted to the head edge and front free endpaper, the wrappers somewhat curling/creased, but about Very Good overall. Complete with the loose insert, consisting of a brief conversation between Sojcher and Royet-Journoud plus details about the book. Seller Inventory # 004360
