An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated September 13th 1902 featuring a main article on Newbattle Abbey in Midlothian, the Seat of the Marquess of Lothian. Eight page write up with black and white illustrations of the house and gardens. This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Mrs Smith-Dorrien.
