Small 4to. Wrappers. ii, 226, [ii] pp. The first issue in a new series of 'Life and Letters' (as was), including H. D., Gertrude Stein, Sergei Eisenstein, Andre Gide, Siegfried Sassoon, Havelock Ellis, Len Lye, Mary Butts, Osbert Sitwell, Horace Gregory, and Oswell Blakeston, plus interviews with Walt Disney, Rene Clair, and Arturo Toscanini. Spotting and a couple of small areas of soiling to the edges, similarly to the lower wrapper, the spine head with an unobtrusive chip, and the hinges gaping somewhat though secure, but Very Good all things considered, the text clean.
