Oversized - the volume measures 16 1/4" tall x 11 3/4" wide. Published in the United Kingdom. Hardcover with leather spine; gilt lettering and five raised bands on the spine; decorative end papers. Condition: Clean back cover; there are a few small, light stains on the back cover; circular label affixed to the bottom of the spine. The leather has split along the right edge of the spine. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Both covers are firmly attached and are not shaky. Nice interior - the pages are mostly clean with only an occasional smudge, stain and small tear here and there. "Western Reserve Historical Society" bookplate affixed to the front pastedown.
