296pp + 47pp ads. B&W illustrations and text. No jacket. Red cloth boards with gilt titles and embossed gilt illustration on front board. Previous owner's name at title page. Cloth rubbed at edges and starting to fray, with a tear at top spine; corners bumped and boards have some stains. Top edge marked with what looks like red a water-stain. Pages heavily foxed throughout. Some thumbing. The classic autobiography of "Buffalo Bill" Cody, writtten in glowing terms by his adoring sister whilst he was at the height of his fame, his touring "Wild West" show pulling in huge crowds on both sides of the Atlantic.
