Binding with 5 panels and 4 raised bands. Gilt from spine lettering has gone (if there was any). Covers are scuffed and rubbed to corners, spine edges and bands. Front cover central panel has some colour bleaching, and there are a few marks and scratches. Binding strong and tight. Page block stained red to all edges. Endpapers stained at edges; fep has an ownership signature from 1948, and slight remains of a previous label. Some foxing to endpapers.
