Octavo. 79, [1]pp. Original illustrated wrappers. Published by chocolate producer Bensdorp of Vienna, this work is a comprehensive handbook and almanac of the 1936 Summer Games in Berlin. It contains a complete winner list (men and women) of the 1932 Los Angeles Summer Games and the 1932 Winter Olympics that were held in Lake Placid, as well as the winners from the February 1936 Winter Olympics of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The book covers the 240 Austrian athletes on their way to Berlin as well as many photos from the 1936 Garmisch-Partenkirchen Winter Olympics, the Berlin Olympic Stadium, the Olympic Bell, Olympic Village and rowing and swimming facilities. It also contains the day-by-day, hour-by-hour schedule of all Olympic events held from 1 - 16 August 1936 in Berlin. Minor rubbing along edges of wrappers. Slight age-toning along paper margin.
