Several libraries do not correct the date of 1606 on the title-page; in this copy it has been correct with and additional "C" added after "D". The work is dedicated to Francois Charles Liebstenski, Comte de Colowrat. The work opens with an assertion of the necessity for humankind to be taught that machines for their defence are a necessity. OCLC locates several copies of this work in continental libraries, two in British libraries and three in North America: Metropolitan Museum of Art, West Point, Yale. Seller Inventory # 9846
