About this Item
First Edition (SD). 'A Study in the Relevance of Ugaritic Materials for the Early Faith of Israel.' 'Published for The School For Graduate Studies, Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, by a grant from the Aid Association For Lutherans, Appleton, Wisconsin.' As you can see from the photos, the covers are in Near Fine condition. The only imperfection being the small dent/crease on the spine (see fifth photo). Otherwise, perfecto. Perfect corners. Perfect edges. Perfect page edges. Perfect lettering. And perfectly square and straight, a very solidly bound book, from cover to cover. The interior of the book looks terrific. It is perfectly clean. I didn't see any creasing or dogeared corners. No one has written anything anywhere in the book. There are no attachments. There is one marking, a small stamp of the previous owner (Rabbi, scholar and psychoanalyst Alan W. Miller) at the top corner of the blank front free end paper. The dust jacket is also in excellent condition. It too has one imperfection: a small loss at the top edge of the spine. The front cover looks terrific, very clean. The rear cover is in very good shape as well, just a minor crease off the bottom edge. The jacket is NOT price-clipped, not clipped at all. I've had it in a fitted protective cover for as long as I've owned the book. The jacket can be seen in the first three photos. Seller Inventory # 002228
