Size: Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. 192 pp. Single volume only of set or series. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is cocked and working loose but fully intact. Slight foxing to front/rear pages, but body of book mostly clean and unfoxed. Front end paper removed. Corners bumped. Covers slightly marked and worn. Scarce. Comprised of six issues of the monthly Wild Life bound into one volume. Covers a diverse array of subjects, from articles on 'The Common Coot' and 'Canadian Wild Geese', to 'The Long-Eared Bat' and 'The Plague Flea'. Profusely illustrated, largely plates, but several images tipped on to pages, sadly one of which is missing, being that facing p. 108, and depicting "Amongst the Fur Branches" pertaining to an article on 'The Marten'.
