hardcover (1936,c1936) with pictorial cover boards showing titles on spine in DJ with price $ 2.00 protected by clear book jacket cover, first published April 1936 as stated, 235 pages with frontispiece by Zhenya Gay, well preserved inner hinges showing a slight darkening, end papers are decorated in same pictorial scene as cover boards with no markings, the only handwriting detected are a tiny ink initial in the gutter of the contents page tucked into the binding, sun fade to spine with closed 1/2 inch cut to upper DJ edge.
