David Livingstone's avowed mission in life was to rid Africa of the scourge of slavery. However, in the course of thirty years wanderings in the interior he kept careful records of what he saw, and became a most accomplished geographer. The author had access to original papers of Livingstone, housed in the Rhodes Livingstone Museum (now the Livingstone Museum) not far from the Victoria Falls. Size: 225x145mm.
