Uncorrected proof of a later edition. Printed wrappers and pictorial proof jacket. Fine in very good or better jacket with some creasing and light foxing, as well as one tiny tear, along the topedge (the jacket is about ½" taller than the book). Described on the cover as a "disturbing and prophetic novel of animal rights." Duffy, novelist, poet, playwright, activist and teacher, was cofounder of The Writers' Action Group in 1972.
