Contents fair/good, corner folding, the odd inscription, inside cover November 7th 1815. Contains a couple of woodcuts in text, An interesting almanac for the period, with table of times significant dates, list of English Kings & queens, weights of coins, table of rising, southing and setting of the Pleiades or seven stars, list of remarkable dates, eclipses of the sun & moon, etc. , and usual interesting woodcut of an officer with upright sword sat upon a cow/bull holding the reigns to his horse beside.+ to rear is 8 pages of Hill s addition to almanacks for 1815 for Essex & Suffolk. sold at Hill s shop, Ballingdon, Essex including list of fairs, duty on windows, the revenue of this country ending July 1813 & 1814. also owners name (unable to decipher) Lawshall, a small village between Bury St. Edmunds & Ballingdon on the outskirts of Sudbury .
