The essays were written between 1957 and 1960 and originally published by a small and defunct publisher in the USA in 1961. We are proud of our history as a renowned second hand bookshop, trading many years on the famous Charing Cross Road. In 2020 the Charing Cross Road shop closed down. After a period of trading online only, we opened our new premises in June 2024.
