About this Item
Rather rare antique 1777 copy of, "Venus attiring the Graces. Addressed to ----" which is also bound with "Ode to Mr. Pinchbeck." The book has been rebound at some point in the fairly recent past. It is overall in good condition with some signs of wear and age. The binding is good and sound. The interior is toned from age with some scattered foxing. There is a Mercantile Library stamp to a few of the pages. Along with that there may be the occasional page with some kind of other typical imperfection such as a small chip or tear, creased page corner, minor marking, light bit of grubbiness, minor stain, etc. The book measures approximately 9 3/4 inches by 7 5/8 inches. Venus is 11 pages long as is Ode to Mr. Pinchbecker, though the pagination for that poem starts with page 5. Pinchbecker does not have its own title page. Seller Inventory # 304819541810
