First UK Edition. Publisher's turquoise-green boards with black lettering to the spine. A neat gift inscription in ink to the front paste-down and very minor foxing to the page block edges (hardly worth mentioning) otherwise a very nearly fine copy in like publisher's price-clipped and re-priced dustwrapper with a superb period dustwrapper illustration to the front cover and with an illustration of a bat etched in brown (inside a yellow circle) to the spine.
