Green cloth bound boards have darkened and chipped badly at top of spine, bumped at base of spine with a few small chips, spine also has a forwards lean, top page edges gilt, original frontispiece (this was later suppressed), page edges rubbed but quality of book still there, very clear and readable, adverts for further reading at back, previous owner notes on back end papers.
