Macmillan Company, New York, 1965. Hardcover. Book Condition: Very Good+. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Printing. B&W Photographs; SIGNED EDITION. This book is in Very Good+ condition and has a Very Good dust jacket. The book and its contents are in clean, bright condition. The text pages are clean and bright. This copy has been signed, with a long inscription, by the author to a person (William Cohen) who contributed to the book -- possibly the well respected law professor at Stanford University. This copy also has William Cohen's signature on the front endpaper. Unfortunately, the ink that was used in the inscription has offset onto the title page and also on the front dust jacket flap. The dust jacket has edge wear, small tears and nicks and several spots of toning / foxing, along with a strip along the bottom edge where a previous owner used clear tape which has discolored and stained the dust jacket. "Eighty million people saw Jack Ruby's astounding crime, and many freely predicted that he would go scot-free. Now two distinguished young law professors, both former trial lawyers, tell the incredible story of the most publicized criminal trial in our history a trial that, to the world's surprise, culminated in the death sentence for the slayer of Lee Oswald.".
