Large hand-coloured folding engraved map small tear, 6 engraved plates, 2 double-page and folding, engraved tail-piece bearing the coat of arms of Spain, Full plain calf binding, spine detached bottom panel missing as is title label. Sprinkled edges. Book plate to front end paper, stamp 'John Bald Book Binder Crieff'. Repairs to torn margin pages 316, 318 otherwise unmarked. Binding poor, text very good. On frontispiece ink name inscribed 'Thomas N Dick-Lauder 1881'. ESTC #T981. This is a heavy / oversized item so may incur higher postage rates. Further details and images are available on request.
