Brown cloth with spine & cover titles in black; 8vo; 380pp; illustrated with mapped end sheets plus b/w photos; color pictorial dust jacket. "Hunting mountain lions in the San Bernardino Mountains of Southern California. Also several chapters on trapping coyotes, one on the wild sheep of San Sevaine and one on trapping bears. A scarce title." (Heller #152) This copy in good condition with a slight spine slant, light remnants of taped on dust jacket(?) on edges, internally clean. The scarce jacket is in VG+ condition, retaining the original $5.00 publisher's price on the front flap; sticker residue (?) to lower spine. One of the most desirable mountain lion hunting titles.
