First edition, trade issue. Square octavo. 111, [3]pp. Illustrated throughout reproducing numerous black-and-white photographs by Eudora Welty. A near fine copy in very good dust jacket with light wear on spine, a one-inch closed tear on front panel, and one-inch creased tear on rear panel, else quite fresh and bright. Scholar and critic Wayne Booth's copy with his signature on front flyleaf. Booth is best known for his book, *The Rhetoric of Fiction* (1961). Seller Inventory # 524044
