A very beautiful travel book, with an astonishing amount of John Minton's atmospheric illustrations - from the tiny page headers to the full colour lithographs and many, many in black and white.the book is bound in brilliant lemon yellow with a lengthwise green spine label with gold titles, but, alas, no jacket. There is very minor, faint foxing to the top of the back paste down endpaper, and a few faint fox prints to top page edges. On the Faber site, it was reckoned to be one of the most important travel books since World War II. Seller Inventory # 007517
