The first UK edition (first printing) - issued a year after the US edition. 8vo. 288pp. Blue cloth lettered in gold at the spine. The head of the backstrip very lightly rubbed, and with just a touch of spotting and browning to the endpapers, and some further light spotting to three or four preliminary leaves. A very good copy in non-price-clipped dust wrapper, a little tanned at the spine panel, with some spotting to the rear panel, several short closed tears and two or three fairly small areas of edge loss. A nice bright copy of this uncommon Louisiana swamp novel. Seller Inventory # BUL90871
