The volume concludes with artists' biographies, bibliographical information, a glossary and index. A catalogue of 59 works, written by two of the most eminent scholars in the field.

About the Author:

John E. Bowlt is Professor of Slavic Studies at the University of Southern California, where he is also Director of the Institute of Modern Russian Culture and has published widely on aspects of modern russian art. Nicoletta Misler is Professor of Modern East European Art at the Instituto Universitario Orientale, Naples, where she lectures on both contemporary Italian art and the russian Avant-Garde movement.
