Good condition, small octavo, marbled boards and recently rebacked in dark brown calf with gilt rules, title in gilt on red label, The boards appear to be from a previous rebinding (circa 18th century) at which time the text block may have been tightly re-guillotined. the edges were then sprayed. New end papers at time of re backing, previous ownership (17th/18th century on title page prior to rebinding) occasional spotting and toning, generally clean and clear and binding firm, some eccentric pagination but catch words follow, frontis piece portrait, title page, monogram JR on verso title page, 6 of dedication and contents unpaginated 422 pages 12 of Alphabeticall Table and errata.
