The New Symposion was a literary and art magazine founded in 1965 as an appendix to the Novi Sad newspaper Novi Sad by Hungarian writers from Yugoslavia. The magazine closed in the second year of the Balkan wars, in 1992. The editors and staff of the paper included Ottó Tolnai, István Domonkos, János Sziveri, Ottó Fenyvesi, László Végel, Attila Balázs, Alpár Losoncz, Béla Csorba, Beáta Thomka, Bálint Szombathy, Ferenc Kontra, Viktória Radics, József Fekete, Bicskei Zoltán and many others. The magazine was permeated by its receptivity to the fine arts, with astonishing, novel collages, photos, visual quotes, and typographic games. During his thirty years of existence, several issues were banned, and a series of attacks were directed against the editorial staff. Seller Inventory # 2423
