1st ed. 1st printing.Yellow cloth covers a littler grubby. Tiny ink numbers written to left side of front. Left hand side of spine has 3cm split. Binding a little loose. All pages are somewhat age-darkened (tanned, if you prefer.) A few brown marks to pages, mainly ancient finger marks. There is a neatish tissue-paper mend to back guttering, amongst the advertisements for "Fun on the Billiard Table" which is not as exciting as you might think, and "The Home Arts Teacher". Hilarious book - the complications of the Land Release Drill. This is intended to be repeated with another swimmer when in actual difficulties but are enough to ensure that one or other of them never reaches shore. Ditto, numerous "Water Tricks," probably intended to impress or amuse the ladies sitting demurely beneath their parasols on the beach. Seller Inventory # 004538
