About this Item
Beautiful set of Volumes 1-57 of the Stair Society publications, including the index to Volume I (1936), which is bound as a separate volume (pub. 1939), together with Supplementary Volumes 1-3, published in 1990, 1995 & 1996. Vols. 1-57 (1936-2010) bound in blue buckram with gilt crest & spin lettering; Supplementary Vols. bound in maroon buckram, gilt lettering to spines only. Condition of the more recent volumes is near fine (slight shelf wear to bottom edge only); older volumes show slightly more wear but still very good for their age. Volumes 1-36 came from the collection of Joan Smith, who was Secretary of the Bank of Scotland prior to its merger with Halifax; later volumes added by me as they were published. Delivery within the London area may be possible, else additional postage/courier charges will apply, given the weight of books (3-4 boxes). Language: eng. Seller Inventory # 15127
