First UK Edition. Publisher's green boards with black lettering to the spine with double border in black to the front board. A bookseller's ticket to the rear paste-down; spine and the peripheries of the back board very slightly faded; light foxing to the fore-edge and the early/late pages of the book otherwise a VG++ copy (and quite scarce in this condition). With 8 illustrations and 30 diagrams. No D/W. Joe Davis' scarcest snooker book. Period snooker/billiards adverts at the front and rear of the book.
